The Reeths-Puffer softball team lost a tough one on Thursday, 3-2 to Jenison, in the rubber matchup of a three-game O-K Green conference series.
The two teams split a doubleheader on Tuesday.
Mady Snyder hit a two-run homer for Reeths-Puffer in the fifth inning to give the Rockets a 2-1 lead, but Jenison answered with two runs on an error and a groundout and stole the victory.

Snyder started in the circle for R-P and pitched four innings. Lainey McDaniel pitched two innings and took the loss, despite only allowing one earned run.
Snyder and Kyleigh Bilek each had two hits for the Rockets. McDaniel and Olivia Ambler each had one.
Reeths-Puffer is now 16-7 overall and 7-5 in conference play.
The Rockets will hit the road for a series of games in Canton, Michigan this weekend.
