R-P's Kye Grant, who shot his best high school round.

Ayden Hartzell shot a 90 for R-P and Jamie Neel shot a 101.

The Rockets also had a White team, which finished 14th out of 16 teams in the final standings.

Tristan Baker and Beckitt Johnson tied for the team lead by each shooting a 91. Ryleigh Beebe shot a 102, Carter Hekkema had a 105 and Becket Mathes shot a 107.

“We shot a season best score and had many individuals do well," said R-P Coach Matt Pallett. "To finish third and have three players in the top 10 is a great day.

“Kristian Brown put a great round of golf together. He has been close to doing so. He has worked hard and it was great to see that pay off with a 75. I am extremely happy for Kye Grant. He is a first year player as a senior. He worked hard to put himself in position to make the team. Today he put together his best round to date.”

The Rockets will compete in the final O-K Green conference jamboree of the season on Monday.
