The Lakers outscored the Rockets 5-4 in a competitive fourth quarter.

The Rockets, with a lot of young players, are now 2-11 on the season.

"Our defense got out to a great start with some long holds against their long possessions," said R-P Coach Josh Robidoux. "Unfortunately a lot of our looks didn't find their way in at the start of the game. Our biggest issue continues to be short bursts where teams put up a lot against us in succession.

"Braeden Monette had an excellent game, finding some open lanes to feed and burying some of his shots. He stepped into an unfamiliar role with us this year, moving to attack for portions of the game instead of middle, but he's learned and grown a lot. Gage Bouwman also played a great game, forcing multiple turnovers and helping us transition the ball."

The Rockets will visit Holland Christian on Tuesday.
