The Reeths-Puffer boys track team had a good day on Friday, finishing fourth out of 11 teams at the Greater Muskegon Athletic Association meet.

The Rockets totaled 60 points in the final standings, behind first place Whitehall (121), Mona Shores and Muskegon.

R-P athletes finished in the top three and won medals in six events, including one first-place finish.

R-P's 4x200 relay team of London Carpenter, Marvin Moore, Mason Darke and Cole Piper took first place with a time of 1:30.12.

Taking second for the Rockets were Moore in the 400-meter run (50.84) and Darke in both the 110-meter hurdles (14.52) and 300-meter hurdles (39.25).

R-P's 4x400 relay team of Callahan Millis, Moore, Piper and Darke also took second with a mark of 3:32.80.

The Rockets' 4x100 relay team of Emcee McLaurin, Carpenter, Sage Secrest and Piper finished third with a time of 44.62.
