The Reeths-Puffer softball team continued its winning ways on Tuesday with a sweep of rival Mona Shores.

The Rockets have now won six in a row.

R-P stayed hot at the plate in the sweep, scoring in double figures in both games to win 13-1 in the opener and 12-4 in the nightcap. The Rockets have now scored more than 10 runs in four straight games.

Tessa Ross led the way at the dish in Game 1, collecting four hits and a pair of stolen bases. Lainey McDaniel had two hits and three RBIs while Kyleigh Bilek had a big three-run double.

Mady Snyder, who hit two homers and pitched the win in Game 2.

Brook Buchan added three hits, Abbie Critchett had two hits, two steals and an RBI, Mady Snyder had two hits and Ava Gibbs added a double.

In total, the Rockets smacked 16 hits and stole five bases in Game 1.

McDaniel was also the winning pitcher, allowing just one run in seven innings of work. She struck out 13 batters while allowing only two hits and one walk.

Snyder was a standout in Game 2, both at the plate and on the mound.. She went 3-for-4 with a pair of home runs and three RBIs, along with pitching seven strong innings. Snyder gave up eight hits, three walks, four runs (just one earned run) and struck out four.

McDaniel also homered for the Rockets - an inside-the-park blast scoring two runs - and hit a double. Brook Buchan had three singles and scored twice, while Critchett had a single, a triple, an RBI and a run. Bilek hit an RBI triple and scored a run as well.

Reeths-Puffer is now 10-1 overall. The Rockets are unbeaten in O-K Green action, sitting at 5-0 in the conference.
