The Reeths-Puffer baseball team bounced back nicely against Caledonia on Thursday, beating the Fighting Scots 8-4 in an O-K Green conference matchup.
The victory allowed the Rockets to salvage one game in the series, after losing both ends of a doubleheader to the Fighting Scots on Tuesday.
The Rockets got on the scoreboard in the second inning when Jayden Wiseman singled in a run, then made it 2-0 in the third when Ethan Frang knocked in another run.
R-P added four runs in the fourth inning and two in the seventh.

Brayden Mitchelson started on the mound and earned the win for the Rockets, scattering five hits while striking out one in five innings. Jack Yonkman pitched two innings of scoreless relief, striking out three.
Reeths-Puffer piled up 11 hits in the win.
Wiseman, Cade Paugh and Conner McManus each collected two hits while Frang, Holden Earnest, Brendan Guikema, Lukas Johnson and Quinn Alderink each had one. Wiseman and Paugh each drove in two runs while Frang, McManus and Alderink each knocked in one
The Rockets stole four bases in the game.
R-P is now 3-2 overall and 1-2 in conference play. The Rockets will visit Mona Shores for a doubleheader on Tuesday.
