The Reeths-Puffer girls basketball team came back from the holiday break looking pretty sluggish on Friday night.
The Rockets had won two of their previous three games, but were unable to get untracked and fell to Caledonia 59-29 in their O-K Green conference opener at Dan Beckeman Arena.
A bad first half set the tone for the night. R-P trailed 15-4 after one quarter, 32-13 at halftime and 50-15 after three quarters.

"The Lady Rockets started the game really slow tonight," said R-P head coach Rodney Walker. "I thought we needed to play with more intensity defensively. Offensively, Caledonia did a great job disrupting anything that we wanted to do offensively. This game gives us an opportunity to get better."
Ashlyn David had nine points and Trinity Moore added eight for the Rockets.
R-P, now 2-7 on the season, will visit Mona Shores next Friday.
