The Reeths-Puffer wrestling team has not been competing much over the holidays, but the Rockets hit the mats again on Friday and performed like they had not been on break.
R-P posted a perfect 5-0 record and won the title at the Reed City Holiday Rumble Team Tournament.
The Rockets beat Lake City 81-0, Sparta 37-29, Birch Run 45-19, Reed City 57-24 and Grayling 57-18.

Four R-P wrestlers posted perfect records on the day. Ian Cook (144 pounds), Sage Secrest (215) and Lyric Stewart (175) all finished 5-0 while Travis Henderson (113) was 4-0.
Hunter Eek (150), Bryce Muskovin (157), Tanner Cowles (132) and Max Knowlton (106) all finished 4-1.
R-P's Sidney Shakelford, who went 3-0 at a tournament in Montague
The Rockets are now 7-1 in dual matches this season.
On the girls side, Reeths-Puffer's Sidney Shakelford competed in Montague's Lady Mat Cats Invitational on Friday, posted a perfect 3-0 record and finished in first place at 155 pounds.
The Rockets will return to action on Saturday in a tournament at Hudsonville High School.
