The Reeths-Puffer boys bowling team has the skill and experience to do very well, but the Rockets are off to a slow start this season.
They fell to 0-2 on the season after a tough 26-4 loss to a good Grand Haven squad on Wednesday.
The Rockets were swept in the baker rounds 204-154 and 211-178, and in the regular games 847-794 and 211-178.
Quinn Alderink
Their four points were earned by Liam Copenhaver and Quinn Alderink, who each won both of their individual games
Alderink had a great night overall, rolling a 203 in both of his games. Copenhaver also did very well, tossing a 221 in his first game and a 186 in his second.
“Grand Haven is a very strong team and they just outbowled us today,” said R-P Coach Craig Alderink. “Liam and Quinn bowled very well all day, with the two highest series for both teams. We had some decent team scores, but needed a little better scores out of our other bowlers to be able to get the win.”
