The Reeths-Puffer boys track team came within an eyelash of winning its first meet of the year on Tuesday, falling to Wyoming 63-61 in a conference meet.

But several Rockets, led by senior Tate Bradley and sophomore Mason Darke, had very good outings.

Bradley scored 10 points for R-P by taking first place in two events – the 800-meter run with a time of 2:24.21 and the 1,600-meter run with a time of 5:59.83.

Sophomore Mason Darke did the same, winning the 110-meter hurdles (17.06) and the 300-meter hurdles (43.30).

R-P's Nate Darling competes in the 3,200-meter run.

Other individuals winning their events for the Rockets were senior Caiden Bolduc in the 200-meter run (24.20), senior Nate Darling in the 3,200-meter run (14:13.53) and junior Nathan Dollaway in the discus (99-02).

Two R-P relay teams won their events – Brody Johnson, Bolduc, Bryce Muskovin and Marvin Moore in the 4 x 200 (1:33.69) and Bradley, Lucas Cavalho, Matt Grimard and Alfonso Gomez in the 4 x 800 (9:45.19).

Darke finished in second place in the long jump, Keegan Sorito was second in the 300-meter hurdles, Grimard finished second in the 800-meter run, and Jezsiah Sims was second in the 3,200-meter run.

Taking third place for R-P were Brody Johnson in the 100-meter dash, Corey Holmes in the 3,200-meter run and the 300-meter hurdles, and Dalton Radosa in the shot put.
