Trent Reichert can do a lot of things for the Reeths-Puffer baseball team, and he showed it on Monday night in the Rockets’ 13-6 victory over Coopersville.

As the starting and winning pitcher, Reichert scattered seven hits while strike out eight batters. At the plate he was devastating, collecting four hits – including two home runs – and five RBIs.

The big win helped the Rockets break a two-game losing streak.

R-P was particularly hot at the plate, banging out 17 hits. Holden Earnest and Brayden Mitchelson both had three hits while Cade Paugh and Jaxson Whitaker each had two.

The Rockets, now 5-3 on the season, will host Muskegon in an O-K Green conference doubleheader on Tuesday.
