The suddenly soaring Reeths-Puffer lacrosse team roared to its fourth straight victory on Thursday with an 18-2 pounding of East Kentwood on the road.

Luke Callender and Brooks Johnson led the way with five goals apiece. Callender also had three assists.

The Rockets raced to an 8-0 lead after one quarter, with goals in order by Callender, Johnson, Kyler Brainard, Johnson, Cohen Beck, Callender, Beck and Levi Carlson.feqer

Ian Wright and Gate Bouwman each scored once in the second quarter, and Callender scored twice more, giving the Rockets a 12-1 advantage at halftime.

Johnson scored twice in the third quarter while Callender and Beck had one goal apiece.

Johnson and Brainard scored the only two goals of the fourth quarter.

Wright finished with three assists for R-P while Brainard and Owen Greiner each had two.

The Rockets, now 4-3 on the season, will put their winning streak on the line Saturday afternoon in a road game against rival Mona Shores.
