The Reeths-Puffer girls bowling team seems to be heating up in the stretch run of the season.

The Rockets had a very strong outing on Saturday, finishing as runner-up at the Mona Shores Invitational.

R-P finished in third place out of 17 teams in the preliminary rounds and advanced to the championship round.

The Rockets defeated Cedar Springs and Whitehall in the first two playoff rounds before falling to Grand Haven in the finals.
