Reeths-Puffer sophomore Jersi Bilek moved into fourth place on the school’s all-time fastest 5K list on Saturday, crossing the line in 18:58 and finishing sixth individually at the Allendale Invitational.

Bilek now only trails Maryssa Depies (record time of 17:57, set in 2015), Kendall Jones (18:41, 2017) and Alexis Lund (18:51, 1993) on the all-time list.

”I am very impressed with the hard work Jersi puts in at practice, on the race course and especially the time she takes to mentally prepare for both races and practices,” said R-P coach Lindsay Keefe. ”It's paying off and so much fun watching her reach her goals!”

Adrienne Fluette also had a good day for the Rockets, placing 30th out of 100 runners with a personal best time of 20:30. That was 20 seconds faster than her previous personal record.

Freshman Gabrielle Chevez finished 43Rd with a personal record of 20:53.

Freshman Darcy Keefe also set a personal record and finished 56th with a time of 21:40.

Kaitlyn Durow was the final scorer for Reeths-Puffer, finishing 79th with a personal record time of 22:58.

Charli Belinger, Hope Latsch, Keeley Cole and Maddie Horenziak also set personal season records in the race.
