Paige Anderson is having an All-Tournament type of season so far.

The Reeths-Puffer standout golfer earned that designation for the fourth time in four tournaments this year by finishing second individually at the Pupel Invitational at Grand Valley State University on Tuesday.

Anderson shot a 75 in a round that was highlighted by five birdies.

“Paige shot a great round today,” said R-P Coach Matt Pallett. “She shot 75 and feels like she left a few out there. She has yet to really capitalize on the par 5’s this year. When she does, then look out!”

While Anderson has been on fire individually, she was more interested in how her team fared in the tournament, and that was good news as well.

The Rockets took fourth place out of 14 teams with a combined score of 373. That was 10 strokes better than they shot on the same course in another event four days ago.

Rowan Bluhm shot a 95 for Reeths-Puffer, followed by Sophia McCollum (96), Avery Luna (107) and Abby Haak (123).
