The Reeths-Puffer lacrosse team is continuing to battle through a difficult stretch of the season.

The Rockets fell to Caledonia 13-8 for their sixth loss in a row on Tuesday after starting the season with a 3-3 record.

Owen Greiner scored a pair of goals for the Rockets. Connor Stawski, Kyler Brainard, Seth Parker, Carson Cooper and Luke Huff also found the net for R-P.

JT Fansler and Bruce Latsch each had two assists while Brainard and Luke Callender each added one.

R-P's JT Fansler, who had two assists and played great defense. 

Fansler, Ian Wright, Jax Meddema, Parker Sweet and Avery Wolf-Sabo were credited with playing solid defense and goalie Gavin Wright made some strong saves.

A rough third quarter cost the Rockets in the end.

“We started the game out hot with some great long offensive possessions which led to a few of our early scores, but after halftime is where we fell apart,” said R-P Coach Jake Kovalcik. “We only scored once or twice in the third quarter, which put us behind heading into the fourth.

“We played another tough game. We just couldn’t find the full four quarters we were looking for.”

The Rockets will host Grand Haven in a big local matchup on Thursday night.
