Freshman Jersi Bilek ripped the ball on Tuesday, piling up six hits to lead the Reeths-Puffer softball team to a doubleheader sweep of Muskegon.

Bilek had four hits (a single, two doubles and a triple) in the opener, a 19-0 victory.

Kaylee Jones added a single and double, Natalie Kunnen hit a double and Mady Snyder had a triple for the Rockets. Overall R-P banged out nine hits.

R-P freshman Jersi Bilek, who had six hits in the doubleheader sweep.

Snyder got the win on the mound, tossing a one-hit shutout with six strikeouts and no walks.

The Rockets won the second game 18-1.

Bilek had two singles, Jones added a single and a triple and Kunnen pounded a double and a triple. Snyder added a homer for the Rockets, who totaled eight hits.

Kyleigh Bilek pitched a no-hitter in the game, striking out eight with no walks.

"Mady Snyder and Kyleigh Bilek both really dominated on the mound tonight," said R-P Coach Sarah Ferenz. "Aubrey Clark called a great game as Mady’s catcher and Brook Buchan did the same as Kyleigh’s catcher tonight. 

"It was also awesome to see freshman Jersi Bilek really come alive at the plate tonight."

The Rockets are now 3-0 on the season and 2-0 in O-K Green conference play.
