The Reeths-Puffer baseball team opened the O-K Green conference season with a pair of easy wins over Muskegon on Tuesday.
The Rockets won the opener 17-0. They scored four runs in the first inning, then exploded for 13 in the second.
Jaxson Whitaker had three hits, including a home run, while David Wilhelm also had three hits for R-P.
R-P's David Wilhelm, who had five hits over the two games.
Starting pitcher Trent Reichert got the win, pitching three hitless innings while striking out eight.
Reeths-Puffer won the nightcap 15-0. Wilhelm and Quinn Alderink each had two hits.
Pitchers Kyle Schlaff and Caiden Theisen combined to strike out six Big Reds and did not walk a batter.
The Rockets, now 4-0 on the season and 2-0 in conference play, will host Muskegon on Thursday.
