Get ready for a day of exploration, discovery, and fun as you navigate the trails and uncover the wonders of nature in our amazing Muskegon State Park!
Starting Friday, April 25th through Sunday, May 4th, we encourage you to get out and explore at Muskegon State Park! There are 2 different course to choose to complete; both starting at Muskegon Luge and Adventure Park:
Beginner
(yellow)
1 hill with 50 steps, mostly flat, and paths are able to have strollers OR WAGONS .75 Miles) 45 minutes to 2 hours.
Advanced
(green)
Lots of Elevation changes,
uneven Ground (Distance: 5.75 miles) 3 to 5 hours or split it into 2 days.
You’ll be looking for 4-7 special sites based on the clues in your Scavenger Hunt packet. Both packets contain 7 Bonus Finds along the way on both the Beginner & the Advanced Scavenger Hunt Hike. Each clue will lead you to either a unique feature or landmark in nature or a human creation that people enjoy in the beautiful Muskegon State Park forest. Muskegon State Park

PACKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE NEAR THE LODGE AT MUSKEGON LUGE AND ADVENTURE PARK STARTING FRIDAY, APRIL 25th.
Once you’ve hiked to all the Scavenger Hunt Clues sites and completed your At Home Reflection sheet bring your completed Scavenger Hunt card, Bonus Finds sheet and At Home Reflection sheet to your teacher (at school) to be turned into the R-P Wellness Team for either your
Adventure bracelet (Beginner Hunt Hike) or your Survival bracelet (Advanced Hunt Hike).
All cards must be turned in by Friday, May 9, 2025.
