Hello Reeths-Puffer Families,

I am sending this communication to provide you with some recommendations for our children’s engagement through this unprecedented time. This email may be followed up from your child’s building and/or teacher with more specific ideas. While we cannot replace the face to face classroom environment with students and teachers, please consider the following ideas to engage your child.

 1. Have your child read or read to your child for 20 minutes - This will engage them in  150,000 words in 4 weeks, developing their vocabulary and meaning of text.

 2. Play board, card and strategy Games - This supports numerical thinking, problem solving and working together.
