7th Grade Rockets Defeat Hamilton in a Tough Home Test
A late 12-0 run for the Rockets in the 4th quarter sealed a home victory as the team continues to show signs of improvement. It was a balanced attack as seven girls scored. Emma Lamphere led the team with a game high six points and five rebounds. Sara Carlson knocked in a couple of key shots down the stretch to end with five points. Amani Starr and Mairyn Peterson each added four for the Rockets. Hope Latsch, Mallorie Messer and Jersi Bilek took control of the defensive backcourt as they combined for thirteen steals and eleven rebounds. Aggressive play and signs of offense will hopefully continue to develop for this young group.
