Good Evening RPI Families and Staff,
It is often said that if you don’t like the weather here in Michigan, wait 10 minutes. Meteorologists have been predicting rain on the first day of school for about a week and with about 12 hours to go, it’s time to pull the plug on our plans to meet outside. So here is the revised plan for tomorrow:
5th grade students will enter either through door 1, 2 or 24 based on the key below. Here is the Map of Door Locations
Door 1: Mrs. Overway, Ms. Carter, Mrs. Peterman, Mrs. Coyne, Mrs. Ronning
Door 2: Mrs. Skodack, Mrs. Kingma
Door 24: Mr. Carter, Mr. Grant, Mrs. Hazard, Mrs. Marvin
Students in Mrs. Overway’s, Ms. Carter, Mrs. Peterman, Mrs. Coyne, Mrs. Skodack and Mrs. KIngma will report to the GYM when they arrive.
Students in Mr. Carter, Mr. Grant, Mrs. Hazard and Mrs. Marvin’s will report to the CAFETERIA when they arrive.
Staff will be at the entrances to assist students to find these spaces.
6th grade students will report to their classrooms tomorrow and enter through the doors listed below:
Door 2: Mrs. Moore
Door 5: Mrs. Niklasch, Mrs. Warren, Mrs. Walters, Mrs. Terpstra
Door 6: Ms. White, Mrs. Jacoby-Yore, Mrs. Meekhof
Door 7: Mrs. Jerome, Mrs. Fitzpatrick, Mrs. Dushane
A couple reminders:
Masks are required at all times in the building unless it is a designated break.
Maintain a 6 foot distance when walking in the hallways
Walk on the right side of the hallway
WEDNESDAY MORNING
If you student isn't scheduled to go to school until Wednesday, stay tuned for a communication tomorrow night if we need to use this plan too. Weather isn't looking for Wednesday morning either at this point.
