8th Grade Rockets battle Muskegon
Coach Pallett's 8th grade team traveled to undefeated Muskegon last night. The Rockets battled with Muskegon for 4 quarters. After a very competitive 1st quarter the score was RP 12 and Muskegon 14. Muskegon hit a half court 3 pointer to take a 24 to 17 lead at the half. The Rockets responded with a great 3rd quarter outscoring Muskegon 16 to 8 and took the lead 33-32. The 4th quarter went back and forth until Muskegon hit a couple of big 3 pointers late in the quarter. The final score was Muskegon 52 and RP 45. The team plays their final game of the season versus East Kentwood on Wednesday. Come out and make a rowdy Rocket cheering section.
