8th Grade Lady Rockets defeated by West Ottawa
The 8th grade Lady Rockets finished their season playing a very good and determined West Ottawa team last night. The Panthers jumped on the Rockets early and took a 14 to 3 lead. The Rockets battled back and cut the lead to only one in the 2nd quarter before West Ottawa went on a little run and took the halftime lead 25 to 17. West Ottawa turned up the defensive pressure in the 2nd half and outscored the Rockets 24 to 3. Although the Lady Rockets ended the season with a loss; the loss does not define how great of a season they had. The team finished 9 and 3 on the season. They will celebrate their season today with a pizza party right after school.
