7th Grade Basketball vs Muskegon

Rockets Take Down the Big Reds

The 7th grade girls did all of the little things necessary to pull out a tough victory at Muskegon. They led from start to finish in the 43-30 victory. Big box outs led to a massive rebounding advantage that was headed up by Mya Swain with a dozen. Jenna Terpstra wasn’t far off the pace with eight while the duo of Dani Balaskovitz and Kyleigh Bilek each had six. To round out the dominance on the glass was the tandem of Maddilynn Dyer and Madison Ingersoll with five apiece. Coupled with the extended defensive pressure was an offense that executed extremely well. Dribble drives opened up the post to get Swain a game high eighteen. Terpstra was on her heels with fourteen while Savannah Lockwood had a breakout game with seven big points. Overall, it was a wonderful team win for the Rockets as they continue to improve and make their coaches proud.
