Reeths-Puffer boys basketball defeated Ludington tonight, 51-36. R-P led 13-9 after the first quarter before a 19 to 7 run in the 2nd quarter pushed the lead to 32-16 at the half. The Rockets maintained a 10 point lead the entire 2nd half, leading 43-29 after the 3rd.
Daven Fox led R-P, scoring a career high 16 points. Kaleb Mitchelson added 12 points and six assists, and Josh Jordan finished with 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
R-P moves to 1-0 on the season and plays Grand Haven at home on Friday.
