7th Grade Basketball vs Fruitport

RP 7th Grade Struggles to Find the Basket

It was a rough shooting night for the Rockets as they were only 5 for 38 from the field and 11 for 25 from the free throw line. The team was able to make their lay-ups against a very inspired Fruitport squad who executed their offense, boxed out well and hustled to the ball in order to come away with a win. Elliot Schneider scored a game high fifteen while Brayden Mitchelson was hot on his heels with fourteen. Trevon Totten and Shaun Haley II had seven and six respectively; meanwhile, Ian Wright knocked down a timely “3” to finish with five. Defensively, Haley and Schneider led the way with six steals apiece. Helping the Rockets on the glass was the duo of Ethan Muskovin and Drew Brooks. The Rockets hope to pick up the pace as they face Mona Shores, Muskegon and East Kentwood to finish the season.
