7th Grade Basketball vs Hamilton

The 7th Grade Rockets Take on Hamilton

The Rockets played their best game of the season in defense of their home court against the Hamilton Hawkeyes. It was a close game that went back and forth early before the Rockets took a 19-10 lead into halftime. This was the point where RP decided it was time to run the show. They exploded in the third quarter and put forth an amazing team effort against a very good Hamilton squad with only one loss on the year. By the time third quarter ended, it was 42-12 behind stingy team defense, big threes by Brady Mitchelson and Drew Brooks, and ten points from Ethan Muskovin. This allowed them to keep the pressure on in the fourth and cruise to a win. Mitchelson led all scorers with seventeen, Muskovin added twelve, and Elliot Schneider poured in ten. Shaun Haley II led a strong defensive attack along with Gavin Wright while Trevon Totten, Muskovin, Schneider and Mitchelson dominated the boards. RP looks to finish the season in a similar fashion with games against rivals Fruitport, Mona Shores and Muskegon.
