Welcome to the 2011-12 school year! This will be my 21st year teaching at Reeths-Puffer Schools. I am one of two Reading Specialists at McMillan, and look forward to spreading the joy of reading!  

My Education and  Experience!

• Undergraduate degree from University of Michigan-Dearborn; 1991

• Master's in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University; 1997

• Master's in Reading from Grand Valley State University; 2002 

• First grade teacher for Reeths-PufferSchools; 1991-2008

• Instructor for reading assessment and strategies class at Grand Valley State University; 2002-present 

• Teacher for after school intensive reading program at McMillan; Spring 2008

• Summer School Teacher at McMillan; Summer 2009

• Member of School Improvement Team with focus on reading; 2004-present

About Me!

• I am a big time animal lover and have nine pets of my own including three dogs named Mazee, Krandal, and Rigleigh; and six cats: Kizzi, Angee, Sofee, Jaspurr, Tannurr, and Ramzee.

• I enjoy hiking and biking through the woods with my dogs, reading, watching football, especially college, making jewelry, riding motorcycles, and just about anything else outdoors!
