Hi! I am Karen Bednarek, school social worker for Central Elementary, McMillan Elementary and Twin Lake Elementary.  I started my career after graduating from University of Michigan for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees.

I have loved working for Reeths Puffer Schools for many years and may know you if you attended Reeths Puffer Schools as a student.  I am married to Paul Gillan, who was so impressed by my passion for my work that he went back to grad school to become a school social worker.  He is a school social worker as Oakridge schools.

Our son, Frederick,  has an information technology business in Chicago where he lives with his wife, Dr. Alison who is an anesthesiologist.
