Welcome to 7th Grade Language Arts!
PLANNING TIME: 5th Hour (12:35 - 1:30)
CLASS SUMMARY: This class focuses on reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Through a variety of literature genres, students will develop and strengthen their comprehension skills. A wide variety of writing assignments will allow students to use their voice and creativity to take their writing to a higher level. Listening and speaking skills are incorporated in many ways to help strenghten their confidence in communicating with others.
PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION: I believe every child can be successful when given the appropriate learning opportunities and support. I will do whatever I can to help a child reach his/her potential.

MY FAMILY: I am married to Jeff Peterman and have two children, Zack and Tara. Both my husband and I graduated from Reeths-Puffer and both of our children attend here as well. We are all active in school sports and the booster club.
MY HOBBIES: I have a wide variety of interests! I love to play beach volleyball, water ski, read, work in my flower gardens, and play with our dogs. Going the the gym, doing a variety of aerobics, and walking are also activities I enjoy.
