Music, Music, Music!! - That is my profession, my life, and my love! I grew up in Petoskey, MI skiing, sailing, playing in band, and singing. My family was very musical -Mom sang in the church choir, my Dad played trombone and sang. We always sang songs as a family in the car. I play the trombone and sing soprano. Both my husband and daughter play piano, trumpet and french horn.
This is my 32nd year of teaching music and 26th year here at RP!! I went to CMU for my Bachelor's of Music Education degree and I have my Masters of Arts from WMU. My family and I enjoying hiking, golfing, music (of course), traveling, reading, playing games and life! We have a year old tabby tiger kitten - Josie, our Gecko Gretta, and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named - Reggie. I am the conductor of the West Michigan Concert WINDS a 80 piece adult community band in West Michigan. This band has toured Europe, England, Wales and Ireland over the years and has performed locally since 1979 . And will be hosting the national convention for the Association of Concert Bands here in Muskegon - May 11-15, 2011. I also have been the band director for Muskegon Community College since 1996. That's why it is Music, Music Music for Mrs. B!!!
