Greetings McMillan Community!  My name is Mrs. Schmitt and I will be serving as your building principal this year.  Recently, I was the Assistant Principal at the Intermediate and had the pleasure of working with Mr. Andrews and the fine staff at RPI.  I have also served in various teaching positions throughout our district, including McMillan! 

My husband and I have three boys who were all students at McMillan.  Our youngest, Michael, recently graduated from RPHS and will be attending Central Michigan University to pursue a degree in Art and Communications.  Our middle son, Nathan, is planning on attending Coker College in S. Carolina to earn a liberal arts degree.  Our oldest son, Matthew is finishing his degree at the University of Michigan, where he also plays varsity soccer for the Wolverines...GO BLUE!!

When I am not at school, I thoroughly enjoy reading, gardening and spending time with family and friends.  I am interested in getting more involved with golf, so that my husband and I have something to do together once all of our boys are gone. :)
