I graduated from Fruitport High School in 1994 and then went on to Michigan Technological University where I earned a degree in Chemical Engineering in 1999.  Before I became a teacher, I was a Process Engineer at a paper mill, a Dimensional Management Engineer for the automotive industry, and finally a Manufacturing Trainer for a metal stamping facility.  I even taught a few college computer classes!!  After working in industry for a few years, I decided to go back to school to become a Math, Science and Computer Science Teacher.  I started teaching 8th grade Math and Science at RPMS in the 2006-2007 school year.  I was moved to the High School for the 2008-2009 school year and have been here since then. 

I love spending time with my two sons, my husband, and our 3 Jack Russell Terriers.
