Welcome to 6th grade and the JAGUAR TEAM!!!!
I was born and raised in the Muskegon area and this is my eighteenth year of teaching in Reeths-Puffer Schools.  I started out at McMillan Elementary teaching second and third grade for eight years.  I then moved to the Intermediate Building to the Wolf Pack Team in 2002.  This is my first year as a Jaguar teacher.  I teach Science and Language Arts.  Before my time in Reeths-Puffer, I taught in both Texas and Indiana.
I graduated from Muskegon Community College and then transferred to Michigan State University.  GO SPARTANS!!!!!  I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Science.  I earned my Masters Degree from Western Michigan in 1996.
I am married with four young boys who keeping me very busy after school hours.  When I have some free time, I enjoy biking, reading, and watching my boys play sports.

10:00-11:15-     Core 2/Language Arts

11:15-11:45  -  Lunch

Here is a list of suggested supplies that your child needs to be successful in 6th grade:
*LOTS of pencils
*LOTS of erasers

*1 1/2 in. or  2 inch three ring binder with a clear "pocket" on the outside for Science.

*One pack of dividers to use in your Science binder.

*One pack of wide rule theme paper that you would donate to the class 

*All students will need a calculator in order to do 6th grade math.

*One box of tissues to donate to the classroom.  

*Four spiral notebooks

*Colored Pencils
