Thank you for visiting my classroom website! This is a work in progress, which I plan to update on a regular basis.

I have been teaching within the  Reeths-Puffer school district since 2006.  I am currently an Early Childhood Special Education teacher.
I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Elementary Education.  Upon graduation in December 2006 I immediately went back to school to work on my Masters in Early Childhood Special Education.  I received my Masters Degree in December 2008. I am a latecomer to teaching because of so many different paths that I chose to take in my life. Directly out of high school I joined the United States Marine Corps, where I served 4 years.  It was there that I found my passion for children who may seem to fit outside of the box that we call "normal". After the Marine's I decided to stay and live in North Carolina because I loved the area so much.  It was there that I first attended college, and where I had my first passionate job.  I was a summer camp counselor for children with Muscular Dystrophy.

I am committed to helping all children succeed, know matter what their individual obstacles are.  Hopefully, my excitement for learning is reflected in my teaching methods.

Thank you, parents and caregivers, for all that you do!
