Visit my classroom blog! Thank you for visiting my classroom website! This is a work in progress, which I plan to update on a regular basis.I have been teaching within the Reeths-Puffer school district since 2006. I am currently an Early Childhood Special Education teacher. I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Elementary Education. Upon graduation in December 2006 I immediately went back to school to work on my Masters in Early Childhood Special Education. I received my Masters Degree in December 2008. I am a latecomer to teaching because of so many different paths that I chose to take in my life. Directly out of high school I joined the United States Marine Corps, where I served 4 years. It was there that I found my passion for children who may seem to fit outside of the box that we call "normal". After the Marine's I decided to stay and live in North Carolina because I loved the area so much. It was there that I first attended college, and where I had my first passionate job. I was a summer camp counselor for children with Muscular Dystrophy.
Thank you, parents and caregivers, for all that you do! -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
