REETHS-PUFFER'S PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM RECEIVES MASB EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE AWARD

 

Reeths-Puffer Schools' professional development program has been awarded top honors from the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB), earning an Education Excellence Award.  The award was based on performance in the following areas:
  • Relevance to student achievement
  • Satisfactorily addresses a critical need
  • Unique and innovative
  • Proven impact, success and scope
  • Effective use of resources
  • Demonstrated consistency with the nationally recognized Building Blocks for High Performing Schools
"The Education Excellence Award program recognizes original, innovative programs in various categories that positively affect student achievement in local and intermediate school districts.  In the first phase of judging, the top three entries in each category win an Education Excellence Award.  In the second phase of the judging, Education Excellence Award winners compete for the heralded Michigan’s Best designation in each category."  MASB
