Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment is a progam that extends educational options by offering 11th- and 12th-grade students who qualify the opportunity to take academic classes at a post-secondary institution while attending high school.

These college classes must be academic and must be courses not offered in the high school. Dual enrollment courses may be taken for high school credit, college credit or both.

The tuition and fees are paid directly to the college by the district. Any tuition amount above the percentage permitted by the school's state foundation allowance will be paid by the student.
