New Volleyball Venue

The Michigan State University Volleyball Team used the new volleyball venue at Reeths-Puffer High School for their pre-season camp.  The Spartans could officially begin their fall practice on August 8, and they hit the ground running.

Cathy George, MSU Head Coach, could not get over how nice the volleyball set up is. “I love all the room you have; you can do so much with a place like this.”  She also stated, “We just got a new volleyball floor in the Jenison Field house (where the volleyball team plays), and this is great, it will get us used to the same floor.”

Not only did they like the volleyball venue, the entire team was really impressed with all the facilities.  Many could not believe this was a high school campus.

When the question was asked to the Spartan Volleyball Players about the volleyball court, the varsity volleyball girls said they would have loved to play in a setting like this when they were in high school.  A couple of the girls said this is better than a couple of the Big Ten Schools' Volleyball Courts.
