Michelle DeMuro qualified for a second year for the State Finals.

The Cross Country Team finished strong again for the Rockets.  The girls team finished third in the conference and in the conference tournament behind strong performances by All-Conference members, Michelle DeMuro and Olivia Howard.  Michelle also qualified for the State Finals, which were held at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan.

Lou Faino, Aaron Stenberg and Scott Nelson led the way for the boys team this season.  All three were named to the All-Conference team and Faino qualified for the State Cross Country Meet.  Faino finished 87th in the State Meet, where DeMuro finished 64th.

Both veteran coaches, Randy Peters and Mike Smith, were very pleased with how the cross country team performed this past season.  Coach Smith had this to say: "I didn't know what to expect this season.  We were going to be really young, but the older girls showed some good leadership to help the younger girls to compete."  Stated DeMuro, "It's amazing how fast the season goes.  You spend a lot of time in the summer getting ready for the season and then it's over.  I have no regrets."
