Dear Parents and Community Members:
I am pleased to present you with the Annual Education Report (AER) which provides key information on the 2014-15 educational progress for Pennsylvania Elementary School. The AER addresses the complex reporting information required by federal and state laws. The school’s report contains information about student assessment, accountability, and teacher quality. If you have any questions about the AER, please contact me for assistance.

Pennsylvania Elementary students perform well in the area of reading and math. The Science, Social Studies and environmentally driven curriculum aligns with the rigorous Common Core Standards and also offers enriching experiences in Spanish, American Sign Language, music and art. Exercising the potential of all students is the priority and individual attention by the team is provided to negate any obstacles to students achieving their best.
State law requires that we also report additional information.
- PROCESS FOR ASSIGNING PUPILS TO THE SCHOOL
Residents outside Reeths-Puffer Schools’ attendance area may apply to enroll in the District. Parents obtain a Schools of Choice application from the Superintendent’s Office and return it by the end of April. When considering student assignments, students are placed based on available space and the best placement to meet their individual needs. We accept students at the Kindergarten level. This process has been followed for the past two years.

Conference attendance at Pennsylvania Elementary is ideal. For the 2014-15 school year 100% of parents attended Parent/Teacher Conferences. For the 2013-14 school year 100% were in attendance. We look forward to working with our students, parents and community members collaboratively for the success of all children.
