Reeths-Puffer Elementary's SCRIP Program

RPEL's SCRIP program is a fund-raiser that equally benefits our school and our families.  It allows parents, relatives or friends of a child in our school to earn money by making a purchase through participating merchants using SCRIP certificates.  When a person purchases SCRIP certificates they are simply purchasing gift cards, dollar for dollar, that can be used to purchase goods or services from the issuing merchant.  With each purchase, a donation is created for RPEL and you.

The great thing about our SCRIP program is that you can earn money and support RPEL by buying items you normally buy everyday, such as gas, food and clothing.  When you buy a gift card through the SCRIP program, a percentage of that gift card is given back to RPEL.  The funds are then equally split between your family account and the PTO.

Local participating merchants include Meijers, Barnes and Noble, Brooklyn Bagels, Hobos, Jack Loek's Theaters, Pizza Hut,  Starbucks, Wesco, Walgreen's, Burger King, Subway, Red Robin, Olive Garden. Kohl's and Russ'.  National Merchants include American Airlines, Carnival Cruises, Amazon.com, Crate & Barrel, and many more.

Keep in mind the following:

  • Funds can only be used for school related expenses through college (i.e. yearbooks, school pictures, field trips, lunch accounts, book fair).
  • You must fill out a check request form 5 days in advance.
  • Order forms are available in the elementary office.
  • SCRIP certificates can be purchased on Friday's from 3:00-4:00 p.m. (stop in the office for location) or drop-off in the office for 24 hour turn-around.
  • SCRIP certificates are kept on hand for local merchants.  National orders are due by Monday at 3:30 p.m., for a Friday delivery.
  • SCRIP certificates make great gifts for friends and family
