Adequate Yearly Progress Information

 

Reporting Requirement -  The number of McMillan Elementary students who were eligible for and who participated in public school choice, beginning with the 2007–2008 school year and for each subsequent year.

2007-2008 - Choice option was not required. 

McMillan Elementary made Adequate Yearly Progress in the previous year.

 

2008-2009 - Choice option was required for McMillan Elementary.  

244 students were eligible to transfer to another school under the provisions for public school choice under section 1116 of Title I during the 2008-09 school year.  One (1) student applied and transferred to another public school under these provisions for public school choice.

 

 

Posting requirement -  The list of available schools to which McMillan Elementary students eligible for public school choice may transfer, for the current school year.  

2009-2010 - Under the provisions for public school choice under section 1116 of Title I, eligible McMillan Elementary students may transfer to Central Elementary, Reeths-Puffer Elementary or Twin Lake Elementary, subject to available space.  Parents who wish to transfer their eligible child under this provision must do so by the first day of school.  Please contact the McMillan Elementary office immediately for additional information.
