Fourth Grade Students Visit Lansing
Recently, some fourth grade students took a field trip to Lansing where they had the opportunity to visit the Capital Building, the History Museum and the Impressions 5 Museum. At the Capital, students were able to learn about our State Government, including the Senate and House of Representatives. They were also able to visit the Governor's Office. At the History Museum, students were able to visualize a walking time line of Michigan history from the first inhabitants to today. The exhibits included mining, lumbering, civil war and the auto industry. The Impressions 5 Museum gave the students hands on science experiences, including making slime in the chemistry lab. |
